LEAVES OF THE BABUL TREE :
The leaves are very close so that to protect themselves from the sun. Also they are very small to avoid more loss of water and for preserve moisture.
FLOWERS OF THE BABUL TREE :
- The flowering season is June to October in some places. But other than that in the others the flowering season is all round the year.
- The flowers are faintly perfumed and in the the group of two to six.
- Each flower are develops on the tiny stalk which develops between the leaf stalk and the branch.

FRUIT OF THE BABUL TREE :
- The fruits are in the form of leathery seed cases containing about seven to twelve seeds. (each seeds are in the separate section)
- The Babul tree is the tree which has seed that grow well after being passed away from the digestive system of birds and animals.
- This is because the seed has the hard outer cover and needs the acid of the stomach to dissloved the cover and allow the seed to grow.
- Gardeners boils the seeds to get the above result to grow the seed of the Babul tree.

USES OF THE BABUL TREE :
All parts of these trees are useful and important to the village people.
- Branches and the leaves are cut down and used as the food of the cattle and goats.
- The heavy wood is used as the charcoal and the fuel, and is also used for making the farm tools.
- The gum, which comes from the trunk and oozes out of damaged parts of the bark from February to March which used for making sweets glue.
- The twigs (a slender woody shoot growing from a branch or stem of tree or shrub) are used for cleaning the teeth.
- Lac is also obtained from this tree.
- The thorns are used as pins.
